The website Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Avec Sport website (www.avecsport.com) and to any order placed via the website. The website Terms and Conditions apply regardless of how the website is accessed including any technologies or devices by which you are able to access the Avec Sport website. By accepting and processing your order through the website you are confirming that you have read, understood and agreed to the website Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms and Conditions then please do not use and purchase through this website.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Customer Accounts and Placing an Order
To place an order we require you to open an account with us which will ask for some compulsory personal information, please see our Privacy page for more information.
By entering this information you agree that the information provided is accurate and up to date in relation to you. This information can be updated or corrected at any time by visiting the “Your Account” section of the website.
When creating your account you will be asked to enter a password to keep your information safe and so only yourself can access your online account. When creating this password it is your responsibility to select a password no one else will know and then to keep the password secret, Avec Sport shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may result in any failure by you to protect your password. If you believe someone may know your password you can change your password any time via the “Change Password” option in your “My Account” section on the website.
Please ensure when purchasing items that you are aware of the total purchase price, including any personalisation and delivery costs. This amount will be confirmed to you on the review your order page and on your acknowledgement email, and any queries regarding pricing should be raised as soon as possible. You are responsible for checking prices at the time the order is placed as prices may be subject to change
Whilst we do carry high stock numbers, all products are subject to availability. Therefore if we are unable to supply any products or if you subsequently cancel your order and a refund will then be credited back to your payment card.
Prices may be subject to change without notice. However product price changes will not affect orders which have already been placed and where an order dispatch email has been received. If the price of an item is reduced after an order is placed the difference will not be charged or refunded.
An offer to buy the products is made when you place the order via the online store. However a contract between you and us will not be made until we accept your order.
If you enter a correct email address during registration we will send you an order acknowledgement email and order update email(s). These are not order confirmation or order acceptance from us.
Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it, order acceptance and the creation of the contract between you and us will take place at the point the products you have ordered are despatched to be delivered to the address you have given us. It does not take place until that stage, even though we may have debited your card or we have sent acknowledging emails. Should at any time we be unable to fulfil an order already debited, we will ensure a refund is placed on your account as soon as possible.
We reserve the right to refuse an order. Such refusal may arise from, but is not limited to, the following situations:
- The item requested is out of stock,
- We are unable to authorise payment for the order, or suspect that the transaction is fraudulent.
- An error in the item information, including pricing or promotion details.
During the checkout process, you will be asked to enter your payment details. By completing your payment details you confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. All fields indicated as compulsory must be completed.
All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer and we may share your personal information with such third parties as are necessary to enable us to complete such checks. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Payment can be made by one single method indicated on our website, we are unable to process an order using multiple payment methods. Payment will be taken during the checkout process and you will see a confirmation stating the outcome of this transaction. Any payments taken online must be refunded online even if the items are returned directly to our Head Office.
If you cancel the transaction while entering your card details or if the card transaction fails you will still receive an order acknowledgement, however the order will be immediately cancelled and you will have to try again if you wish to purchase any items.
Delivery and Collection
If home delivery is selected as the delivery method during the checkout process, an additional delivery change of £5.95 will be added for all orders under £250. By continuing with the checkout process after this selection the customer is agreeing to this addition change.
Free delivery will be applied to any single order where the basket value (excluding delivery charges) exceeds £250.00. Basket value includes all personalisation charges and discounts.
We deliver to any UK address, if we receive the order prior to 12pm Monday to Friday we will attempt to make sure you receive your order Next Working Day, if you add personalisation to any items you will not be eligible to receive your order Next Working Day. In all cases a signature will be required on receipt of the delivery, if no one is available at the time the parcel is attempted to be delivered then a note will be left for you to rearrange a for a new suitable delivery time. If the parcel is returned to our warehouse due to failure to accept the delivery after multiple attempts, and the delivery information used matched what was entered during checkout, you may be charged the delivery charge again to resend the parcel.
Alternatively you can select to collect from our Head Office by prior appointment. By selecting this option no delivery charge will be applied. When collecting your order, please bring a copy of the order acknowledgment you will have received via email. Failure to do so could mean the release of the order being refused. Please wait for a member of our sales team to get in contact to give you the earliest date which you may come to collect your order.
Once the order has been dispatched you will receive an email confirmation. Please allow the expected delivery time to pass before contacting us about a non-delivery. These expected delivery times can be viewed in our FAQ.
It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address provided is correct and able to accept delivery of the product and an authorised signature is provided.
It is your responsibility to count and check all parcels you receive to check everything is present and correct as outlined in the Delivery Note which should accompany the parcels, any issues regarding missing parcels must be raised with the delivery driver at time of receiving the delivery and then followed up by informing our sales team. Any issues with individual items, personalisation, missing items must be reported to our sales team within 3 days of delivery.
We shall have no liability to you in respect of any delay or failure to deliver a product due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) delay or failure caused by adverse weather, strikes or transport problems.
If you notice any errors in the address you have provided or if someone will not be available to receive the item you must contact us before you received your “Shipped” email confirmation where we will try to amend the delivery address.
Due to the many factors to consider, we currently don’t offer delivery outside of the UK online, however if you are interested please contact us and a member of our sales team will be able to take your order and address details and provide you with a quote.
Cancellation and Returns
If you are contracting with us as a consumer online or by phone, you have the right to cancel (under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83 as implemented in the applicable EU member state ("CRD")), all or part of your contract can be cancelled at any time up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive the goods you ordered. Avec Sport Ltd will process your refund with 14 days of receipt of the products. You must take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession and they must be returned to us before we can issue your refund.
You must complete the “Returns Request” form which can be found within the order detail of the order you wish to return in your “My Account” section, failure to complete this may result in a delay of the returns process.
If you cancel your order prior to dispatch you will be entitled to a full refund including any delivery charge. Please allow up to 14 working days from the date of notification to cancel for the refund to be processed.
In any case where an order is requested to be cancelled/returned, if the order has items to be personalised and this work has already begun no refund can be given on these items. Refunds can only be given on personalised items if the personalisation has been processed incorrectly during production or if after inspection the item is deemed to be faulty.
All must be returned to us in a new and unused condition with any garment packaging and labels still attached and in a saleable condition. Socks cannot be returned unless they are returned unworn and complete in their original packaging or deemed to have a manufacturing fault.
Items can be returned and exchanged in person at our Head Office. However if a refund is required this must be completed online and will be refunded to the payment card used for the online order. When returning items in person the order acknowledgement email must be presented as confirmation otherwise we have the right to refuse return or exchange of items.
We have the right to refuse to refund or exchange any item if the condition of the returned item is not of a saleable quality or if the item has been mishandled causing a fault to occur.
A “Personalised” item is any item which has been ordered which you have personalised to your own specification, for example by including your club badge/ sponsor logo via the Kit Builder or adding Names/Numbers or Initials to any item.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the details supplied for any personalisation of the item(s) are accurate and any mistakes on the part of the customer will mean refunds will not be given, this includes but not limited to, incorrect item size selected for the personalisation is to be applied to, incorrect spellings or logos uploaded. If a mistake is noticed by the customer, you must contact our sales team via telephone as soon as possible during office opening hours and if this is raised prior to work beginning your order can be amended, otherwise you will have to reorder and be charged again for the correct items.
Any crests or logo’s provided for personalisation by any club must have permission to them, we reserve the right to ask for written permission to confirm that you have the required permission, failure to produce this will mean the crest/logo will not be applied to any items.
All contact details can be found in our “Contact Us” section. Unfortunately if the order has already been processed we will be unable to offer a refund and the customer will have to re order the incorrect item. If the member of staff processing the order identifies that an error may have occurred they will contact the customer for confirmation as soon as possible.
If a personalisation arrives incorrectly applied and all details supplied by the customer are correct a replacement item will be processed and delivered free of change, stock levels permitting, as soon as possible. If the item is no longer available, an alternative will be offered, otherwise a full refund for the item and the cost of the personalisation will be processed. Please allow 21 working days from the date the error was reported for the refund to be processed.
We have taken reasonable precautions to try to ensure that prices quoted on the Website are correct and that all products have been fairly described. However, when ordering through the Website, please note that:
- Orders will only be accepted if there are no errors in pricing, promotions (expired or pricing) or product descriptions. , in cases where this information is not correct you will be informed as soon as possible and any changes or further action will be explained.
- Images of products shown on the website are a reproduction of colours as accurate as the photographic and production process will reasonably allow.
- All measurements are approximate and the sizing chart is produced on the basis of “to fit” sizes. If you are uncertain or need advice regarding sizing we recommend that you order a (returnable) sample or else contact our customer service dept.
- Although our website shows stock availability this is subject to change and will accepted once the order is received and checked, you will be made aware of any stock issues as soon as possible where an alternative may be offered or a refund will be processed.
Certain items our website may be available as part of promotional offers. We reserve the right to modify, alter, discontinue or terminate such promotions at any time for any reason whatsoever without notice to end users.
Any items bought as part of an offer (e.g. 2 for £20) if only one of the items are returned you will only receive a refund based on the offer price, (e.g. one item returned, £10 refund given) regardless of the actual individual product price.
From time to time we may also make Promotional Codes available so that customers can get a discount on products (e.g. 10% off selected lines). We have the right to withdraw Promotional Codes at any time and offers may sometimes be subject to availability.
We may amend these terms from time to time at our discretion without notice to you. Any amends will be posted on this website and will supersede any terms and conditions previously published by us.
You may not, without our prior written consent, copy, reproduce, crawl, frame, republish, download, print, post, distribute, re-post, broadcast, record, transmit, edit, communicate to the public, link to, deep-link into, or distribute in any way the web pages or materials on the website or the computer codes or elements comprising the Website other than solely for your own personal or internal business use. You may not use the content of the Website for any commercial purposes whatsoever.

All communication, posts and comments made on our website, social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter etc) or directed to our staff must not include any of the following, if Avec Sport Ltd believes if any communication includes any of the following we have the right to remove and take any appropriate action.
- profanity, blasphemy, spiteful, racist, sexually explicit, sexually gratuitous or discriminatory comments or content that might be considered to be harassment, abuse or threats against the personal safety or property of others
